Q media panel on G20 coverage

CBC Radio One’s Q featured a thought-provoking media panel this week that discussed the coverage of the G20 summit in Toronto.

“Were the pictures beamed out to the world an accurate reflection of what happened on the weekend?

“Was the coverage hyped, or fair and balanced?

“Did the never-ending loop of violent images feed the fire?”

The panel featured John Cruickshank of the Toronto Star, Judy Rebick of rabble.ca, and John Tory of Newstalk 1010. Click here to listen to the discussion.
